- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded turkey, mayonnaise, celery, onion, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and garlic powder.
- Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
- Season generously with salt and pepper to taste.
- Gently stir in pecans or walnuts and parsley, if using.
- Shape the mixture into a ball. Use your hands or plastic wrap to create a smooth, uniform shape.
- Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the cheese ball to firm up.
- Serve chilled with crackers, vegetables (such as carrot sticks and celery sticks), or bread.
Notes
For a festive touch, roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans or finely shredded cheese before refrigerating. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
