  • 1 15 ounce package Strawberry cake mix
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 21 ounce can Strawberry pie filling
  • 1 tablespoon Butter melted, for greasing the pan
  • 1 tablespoon All-purpose flour for dusting the pan

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with 1 tablespoon of melted butter and dust with 1 tablespoon of flour.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the milk until well combined.
  3. Pour the entire can of strawberry pie filling into the prepared baking pan.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the strawberry pie filling.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cake mix. Do not stir.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool completely before serving. It's even better the next day!

Notes

For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese. You can also add a sprinkle of chopped nuts or a drizzle of chocolate sauce before serving.
