Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 count Mini Hot Dogs
  • 1 8 ounce package Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough
  • 2 tablespoons Yellow Mustard optional, for mouths
  • 2 count Large Black Olives sliced for eyes
  • 1 tablespoon Ketchup optional, for blood splatter

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Sharp Knife

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
  3. Place a mini hot dog in the center of each crescent roll triangle.
  4. Wrap the dough tightly around the hot dog, leaving the pointed end free, resembling a mummy's wrappings.
  5. Place the wrapped hot dogs onto the prepared baking sheet. Add small olive slices for eyes and a tiny line of mustard for a mouth (optional). For extra spooky fun, add a few small dots of ketchup to resemble blood splatters.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Let the hot dog mummies cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, you can brush the mummies with melted butter before baking. Feel free to get creative with the decorations; use different types of olives, cheese, or even pretzels for added fun!
