Ingredients

For the Spiced Pumpkin Almond Milk Creamer
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup adjust based on sweetness preference
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Whisk
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Airtight Container
  • Stirring spoon

Method

  1. Step 1: In a medium saucepan, combine the almond milk and pumpkin puree over medium heat. Stir the mixture gently to incorporate the pumpkin puree into the almond milk.
  2. Step 2: Use a whisk to blend the ingredients together until the mixture is completely smooth, about 3-5 minutes. Keep an eye on the heat to prevent boiling.
  3. Step 3: Stir in the maple syrup, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to ensure all flavors are evenly distributed.
  4. Step 4: Allow the mixture to heat for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, without letting it come to a boil.
  5. Step 5: Once heated through and fragrant, remove from heat and let cool slightly before transferring to a storage container.
  6. Step 6: Pour the creamer into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to one week. Shake well before each use.

Notes

For a thicker creamer, use less almond milk or add more pumpkin puree. Adjust sweetness to your liking.
