- Step 1: Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain in a colander and set aside.

Notes
This dish is best enjoyed fresh, but you can prepare the sauce ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator. Simply reheat and toss with freshly cooked spaghetti before serving.
