Ingredients

Dip Ingredients
  • 8 ounce Cream Cheese, full fat softened completely to room temperature
  • 7 ounce Marshmallow Fluff (Marshmallow Creme) (1 standard jar)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar sifted (optional, for stiffer consistency)
  • 1 tablespoon Milk or Heavy Cream optional, to thin the mixture
Serving Suggestions (Dippers)
  • 1 pint Fresh Berries strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries
  • Sliced Apples or Grapes toss apple slices in lemon juice to prevent browning
  • Cookies or Crackers such as vanilla wafers, graham crackers, or animal cookies

Equipment

  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Electric Hand Mixer (or Stand Mixer)
  • Rubber Spatula

Method

Mixing the Dip
  1. Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened. Place the cream cheese into a large mixing bowl. Using an electric hand mixer, beat the cream cheese on medium speed until it is completely smooth, lump-free, and slightly fluffy (about 1 to 2 minutes). Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  2. Add the entire jar of Marshmallow Fluff and the vanilla extract to the bowl with the cream cheese.
  3. Continue mixing on medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes until the marshmallow fluff and cream cheese are fully combined and the mixture is very light, airy, and uniform in texture.
  4. **Adjust Consistency (Optional):** If the dip seems too stiff, add the milk or heavy cream, one tablespoon at a time, mixing briefly after each addition until your desired dipping consistency is reached.
  5. **Adjust Sweetness/Set (Optional):** If you desire a slightly sweeter or stiffer dip, gently fold in the sifted powdered sugar until just combined. Be careful not to overmix at this stage.
Chill and Serve
  1. Transfer the finished dip into a serving bowl. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Chilling allows the flavors to deepen and the dip to firm up slightly, making it perfect for dipping.
  2. Serve the Marshmallow Cream Cheese Fruit Dip cold alongside your prepared fresh fruits, vanilla wafers, or graham crackers.

Notes

For best results, make sure your cream cheese is truly at room temperature. If it is cold, the mixer will not be able to fully incorporate the marshmallow fluff, leaving small lumps. The dip can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance and stored covered in the refrigerator.
