- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Stir in pecan halves.
- Pour the pecan filling into the prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cobbler topping evenly over the pecan filling.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar. You can also add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the filling. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
