Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 12 ounces Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 14 ounces Sweetened condensed milk
  • 15 ounces Pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 cup Chopped pecans or walnuts Optional

Equipment

  • Microwave-safe Bowl
  • 8x8 inch baking pan
  • Parchment paper
  • Spatula

Method

Instructions
  1. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the chopped pecans or walnuts, if using.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  7. Once firm, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
