  • 1 14.5 ounce can Canned Green Beans drained
  • 1 10.75 ounce can Cream of Mushroom Soup condensed
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups French Fried Onions
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce optional, adds depth of flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder optional, enhances savory taste

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Drain the canned green beans and set aside.
  2. In your slow cooker, combine the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce (if using), and garlic powder (if using).
  3. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
  4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, or until heated through and bubbly.
  5. Stir in 1 cup of the French fried onions.
  6. Continue cooking on low for 30 minutes, or until the onions are slightly softened and golden brown.
  7. Before serving, top with the remaining 1/2 cup of French fried onions.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider using homemade cream of mushroom soup. You can also add other vegetables like sliced mushrooms or diced potatoes. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
