- Step 1: Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta in a colander and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- Step 2: While the pasta is cooking, cook bacon until crispy and crumble into bite-sized pieces. Chop romaine lettuce and halve cherry tomatoes. Set aside.
- Step 3: In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 4: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, crumbled bacon, chopped romaine, and halved cherry tomatoes. Pour the dressing over the mixture and toss gently to combine.
- Step 5: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
