- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: Line your muffin tin with paper liners or grease it with cooking spray.
- Step 3: In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt.
- Step 4: In a large bowl, cream the softened unsalted butter and packed brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Step 5: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the molasses and milk until combined.
- Step 6: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Step 7: In a separate bowl, combine the flour, packed brown sugar, and ground cinnamon for the streusel. Stir in the melted butter until crumbly.
- Step 8: Divide the muffin batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Step 9: Sprinkle the streusel topping over each muffin.
- Step 10: Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a muffin comes out clean.
- Step 11: Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
